Treatment of A Disease
Harris Creek Baptist Church

I. Introduction
I hate to be sick; I’d rather have just about anything else happen to me but be sick. There’s nothing worse then having a head cold it feels like you are walking around with a rag pulled over your face and one stuffed in your mouth. My aide this morning that came to help me get ready had a cold. Every few seconds she would *sniff* or *cough* a little and I could tell it was making her feel bad. Sickness in your life whether it be great or small still does the same thing, it makes you feel bad. Tonight I’d like to talk with you just a few moments about a sickness, a disease that every human being that has ever lived has, a disease if left untreated will ultimately be the death of us. The problem is though that many people live their lives treating the symptoms of this disease but never treat the disease itself. Tonight if you let me, I’d like to talk a few minutes on the Treatment of Disease…
Well it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted anything over here so I felt it was time to add a little note. I’ve officially gone into semi-retirement from playing World of Warcraft…so what does this mean well first off I’m not playing any significant amount maybe once a week if that much even. Now that I’ve stopped playing for a while it’s given me an opportunity to inspect my life and relationship with God. I’ve come to realize just how much effort and time I’ve put into playing this game and allowed my other relationships to go lacking.
It actually feels kind of good to not worry about making a raid on Thursday or Friday.
I completely forgot about this interview I did for this book, back 2 or 3 years ago but someone just showed me an excerpt from the book.click the link The Battle for Azeroth and it takes you to Amazon.com website where if you do a “Look inside” on the book, do a search for “Redeemed” and you should end up on page 29 where I did the interview.
The Blizzard Background Downloader is at least attempting to download the initial part. of the 2.4 patch. So does that mean the 2.4 patch is imminent…not necessarily it could still be a matter of weeks before we actually see the patch go live but until then you can always watch and wait.
For more info on the upcoming patch visit MMO Champion for more details.
Here is a first look for all those online at the notes for tomorrow morning’s sermon. I hope you find some useful tidbits in it for your own lives.
To Be A Friend

I. Introduction
Have you ever really thought about who your friends are? I’m not talking about people you know or acquaintances but people who are truly your friends, people who you can count on through thick and thin. Most of you could probably count on one hand those people you know you can depend on. Today I want to preach to you a little while on what it means…To Be A Friend and hopefully by the end of this message we’ll have learned a few things about friendship and how we can be better friends to those around us. Turn with me this morning to…
I’d like to thank everyone in my town for coming together and helping me get a new wheelchair accessible van. There was a lot of work and effort put into the fundraiser by all those who were involved. May God richly Bless you for your blessing upon me.
There is an article in the Cheraw Chronicle about it, Check here to read it.
Gary Gygax creator and author the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game died Tuesday the 4th at 69. Throughout the years there had been much controversy by some Christian groups calling the game satanic and ungodly, however Gary was a professed Christian and many aspects of the game can easily be correlated to Scripture.
Gary actually sat on a panel at Gencon hosted by Christian Gamers Guild discussing the topic of Christianity and gaming.
Check this video out of him discussing it.

There is a new version of the upcoming 2.4 World of Warcraft patch on the PTR which has implemented quite a few changes. This is the current information posted by MMO Champion
Here’s a list of some of the changes:
- T6 Belt/Bracers/Boots get some stamina back
- Hyjal/BT Jewelcrafting patterns
- Lord Ahune is a new Headless-horseman-like boss
- Sunwell craft recipes changes
The upcoming 2.4 patch from Blizzard for World of Warcraft currently looks to add some nice new features in the game. In this latest patch on the Public Test Realms currently the Sunwell 5 and 25 man instances are open. There is now new heroic badge gear, new enchanting, tailoring and many other recipes in this latest patch. I’m looking forward to seeing what awaits us once this goes live. If you can’t wait until then you can always try it out on the Public Test Realms, however be aware that Character copying is currently disabled due to some problems Blizzard is experiencing.

I. Introduction
Tonight I would like to talk with you about Walking In The Spirit.
